The Teenage Quartet
St Marks Teenage Quartet even though their were five
of them, photo taken inside the St Marks.
Some of the the petitions with original window panes are still intact.

In 1957 a few school / church friends decided to form a dance
band and played to 40-50 St Mark's Churchgoers every month in
the school hall.
When rock n roll kicked in in 58-59, we adapted and played to
full houses of teenagers from all over Bolton.
A vote at one gig gave us the name of "The Teenage Quartet"
