1946 lancashire Cotton Corporation Ltd receives permission to re-open

1976 Closed by Tootals Ltd.
1985 No1 Mill site landscaped for use as playing fields.
1985 No2 Mill used by Dewhurst Dent Holdings Ltd, G & R Dewhurst

2008 The Mill is to be demolished and replaced with apartments, the
reason given by the council is the mill no longer reflects the image
of the surrounding area.
If that was the case the whole of Bolton needs to be bulldozed
for in my view the buildings designed today do not have character
and will not be still standing in another 100 years time.
